Bio
Julianna Grant, Attorney at Law for Collins Family & Elder Law Group, is based in the Dilworth office in Charlotte, NC.
Julianna was born in Lexington, Kentucky but grew up in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. She received degrees in both Agribusiness Management and Political Science from North Carolina State University. During her time at NC State, Julianna competed on the university’s equestrian team, fostering her passion for horseback riding and love for competition.
From a young age, Julianna knew she wanted to pursue a career in law focused on helping and advocating for others. Julianna attended the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law in Lexington, Kentucky. While in law school, she was a member of the Kentucky Journal of Equine, Agriculture, and Natural Resources Law, acted as secretary of the college’s mock trial organization, and was involved with numerous student organizations. Through these experiences, Julianna found her passion for client advocacy, especially through the process of litigation. She focused her courses on civil litigation, including the practice of family law. Julianna became licensed to practice law in North Carolina in 2023.
Experience and Scope of Practice
Julianna is skilled in civil litigation and previously practiced as a civil defense attorney at a large insurance and business defense firm. In this role, Julianna litigated numerous cases in Mecklenburg and surrounding counties. She is well versed in all stages of the life of a case, from the initial pleadings, through discovery, to the ultimate resolution.
Julianna represents clients in family law matters including separation agreements, divorce, domestic violence, custody, and child support.
